My X-series sketch cards feature authentic trading cards whose original player/character is swapped out for a different athlete which I paint directly onto the original trading card. For clarity, the card you are purchasing here is a Luke Skywalker Topps Living Star Wars card (no.100) with a portrait of Shohei Ohtani hand-painted directly on the card itself.
This portrait of Ohtani is a truly unique piece, showcasing Ohtani (Dodgers) on a Star Wars card. What better way to bring non-sport and sports collectors together!
THIS IS A 1-OF-1 CUSTOM CREATION.
Not only does this card come with a unique portrait of Ohtani painted directly on the card, but it has been serialized (X-008) and designated as a 1/1 creation on the back (Example: "X-001" refers to X Series Art Card no.1). Additionally, you'll find my classic GOLD FOIL ARTIST SIGNATURE on the back of the card. The edges of this card have also been hand gilded with gold leaf.
The card comes housed in a one-touch magnetic case, sealed with my official artist label. Included in the pack is a Certificate of Authenticity signed by me as well as additional documentation signed by me which shows the progression steps of the card's creation. A Bill of Sales Ledger is also included so that the provenance of this card can more easily be tracked in the future. (Purchase this card and get your name at the top of the Bill of Sales Ledger forever!) The pack is heat sealed in shrink wrap to ensure protection.
